Anyways, as you will see I have been super into pink and coral lips for summer!

Seeking Pleasure? ;)

Sorry about the title.. I couldn't help myself. ;)
Anyways, MAC recently launched the Heavenly Creature collection containing different mineralize skinfinishes, mineralize blushes, lipsticks, etc. The only thing that I decided to order from this collection was the lipstick in Pleasureseeker. What drew me to this color was the fact that it is a peachy nude. I own many (MANY) nude lipsticks but not a lot of pink or peach nude lipsticks. Ironically, MAC's Shy Girl, another peachy nude that is compared to Pleasureseeker, was the first lipstick that I ever bought from MAC. I tried it out and decided that it was too light for my tan skin tone and ended up trading it on Makeupalley (which ended up being swaplifted -_-). Despite my bad luck with shy girl, I am loving the peach nude color that Pleasureseeker delivers. This is a glaze formula so it is a little bit of a lighter pigment than other formulas, but it still delivers a beautiful wash of color that brings life to the lips. It is not drying on my lips (it feels more like a lip gloss/lipstick cross). But, it also does not last as long as other lipsticks.
Despite it lasting only an hour or two on my lips, I am loving this lipstick and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I feel like this lipstick would look great on most skin tones unless you are fairly dark, it may be too light.
Pleasureseeker is currently still available on MAC's website for $14.50. Click Here to check it out!

Has anyone tried the other lipsticks from this collection?

Also..
My boyfriend gave me a new camera for my birthday! It is a Panasonic Lumix and it shoots HD videos..
Possible Youtube videos in the future?

Feeling Superb.

If you haven't heard of the new (er) MAC collection In Extra Dimension, then I am sure you have most likely heard about a specific product from the collection. This line introduced Extra Dimension Highlighters which are described as follows:

A liquid-powder highlighter with prismatic reflections that sculpts, highlights, and models the face. The cool, creamy near-fluid formula creates a luminous, well-defined finish. Wears 10 hours.

I really wasn't planning on buying anything from any of the new MAC collections. I happened to see the shade Superb on a haul and I decided to check and see if it was in stock on the Mac website "just for the hell of it". To my surprise, it was in stock and I totally impulse bought it.

This highlighter is perfect to add to my growing collection of highlighters. It is a gorgeous champagne frosty highlight. Because champagne is a color that goes great with many skin tones, I knew it would look good. I have been wearing this as either a highlighter for my cheek bones or to add a little luminous glow to the apples of my cheeks.

These Extra Dimension highlighters retail for $29.00. I know that Superb has been going in and out of being sold out. If you do happen to stumble onto the website, I would recommend checking Superb and the other shades out. :)

Did you purchase anything from this collection?

Recent MAC Lipsticks

First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you who left me a comment on my last post. You are all amazing. Thank you all for your encouragement, sympathy, and prayers. It really means a lot. I also want to give a special thank you to my girl at Life size Barbie for her beautiful post that made my day. :) Thank you.

I have purchased a few new MAC lipsticks this past month that I would like to share with you all. Two of them, "Watch Me Simmer" and "Innocence Beware", are from the SHOP MAC collection that came out this past February. All of the lipsticks in this collection sold out SO fast! I literally stalked the website every day to see when they were going to restock. It took them a while and I randomly checked one morning and they were back in!
The other lipstick I purchased was "Viva Glam Nicki". Which I am sure all of you have heard much about. :)

MAC Watch Me Simmer
"Watch Me Simmer" is the lipstick from the Shop Mac collection that I was most excited about. I kept looking at pictures of swatches on other blogs and became obsessed with it. I was kind of apprehensive about buying it online before trying it out on myself before hand. But it turns out.. I LOVE this color. It is a very flattering bright coral pink with an amplified finish. I feel like this bright color is more flattering on me than any other bright lipstick that I own. If they restock these lipsticks I would recommend that you snatch this one up!

MAC Viva Glam Nicki
"Viva Glam Nicki" is a bright yellow toned pink with a satin finish. I had heard a lot about this lipstick before I went to my MAC counter to try it on. When I first put it on I was like "wow, this is way too bright for me". But, after pairing it with a lip pencil and lip gloss on top, it toned the color down a little without loosing the fun bright color.

MAC Innocence Beware!
"Innocence Beware!" is a pink nude with a cremesheen finish. I really hadn't planned on purchasing this lipstick before hand so it was more of an impulse buy when I saw that the lipsticks were back in stock. Since I am a nude lipstick kind of person, I knew that I would most likely love this color and I do! The formula of this lipstick is smooth and moisturizing. It does not give a great amount of color when first applied, but it is buildable. I love it for every day wear.

"Viva Glam Nicki" is still available on the MAC website and in stores for $14.50. All of the money from this purchase goes to the MAC AIDS fund.
The other two lipsticks are currently sold out on the MAC website. I do not know if they will be restocking them. :(

What lipsticks have you purchased for Spring?

Constructivist Paint Pot

Well this is my second paint pot purchase ever. My first being painterly. I originally went into MAC to get the Idyllic paint pot from the Posh Paradise collection. I LOVED the color and I thought it would go good with my everyday makeup since I wear a lot of coppers and browns. Sadly, they were sold out of Idyllic in the store as well as online Constructivist was my second option. I have been trying to pick up on more neutral colored eye shadows that will be easy to wear for everyday at school and work. I must say this color is beautiful. It kind of reminds me of Satin Taupe by MAC but more brown. I have been wearing this color almost every day on my lids while putting a darker brown color in the crease. It is super pigmented and lasts a very long time when used over a eye shadow primer.
It is easy to wear and beautiful! What more could you ask for. :)
(For those of you who do not know, Paint Pots' are available in Mac stores and online for $17.50)

Here I used it on my lids..

What is your favorite paint pot from MAC?

Lightscapade Mineralize Skinfinish! (lots of pics)

Yes. I have finally fulfilled my quest of obtaining the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade! I orginally planned on ordering this with my MAC Fall Colours purchases but the MAC website was sold out FOREVER. I even went to my local MAC counter the day that the collection came out. They had only been sent a sample of the MSF due to the low stock! I kept checking the MAC website every day until finally they restocked. I ordered this baby ASAP. (I might be a little obsessed) I checked the website the day after I had ordered and they were already sold out again! Crazy.. I knew this certain MSF was in high demand but I didn't realize just how much everyone wanted it!

Anyways,
This Mineralize Skinfinish, Lightscapade (love the name), is a gorgeous white/silver highlighter. It looks beautiful in the pan as it does on the skin. There are no big chunks of glitter so it is very wearable. It does not give a super intense highlighter effect so it is perfect for an every day highlighter. It looks very subtle and natural on the skin. I really would recommend picking up this MSF if you get the chance to. If you collect MSF's or Highlighters this will be an awesome addition to your collection.

Here are a lot of swatches...

So pretty

September Favs

I have been using all of these products pretty much every day during September..

Make Up Forever Matte Velvet Plus Foundation
I have been wearing this foundation so much this month! I wanted a medium/full coverage foundation that did not feel very heavy like my other full coverage foundations. This gives my skin a flawless finish and I don't even feel like I am wearing any foundation! I also like the matte finish it gives and it wears for a good 16 hours like a long wearing foundation. I am shade 45 which is medium skin tone with pink and beige undertones.

Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Cleanser
I have been using this as my every day cleanser since I purchased this from Ulta a little while ago. I have already gone through 1 bottle! Although I haven't really noticed any significant skin clearing, it does leave my face feeling soft and very clean. I like that it is mostly natural ingredients that I am putting on my face.

Bath and Body Works Super Softening Hand Lotion
I received this hand lotion as a free gift when purchasing some other items from Bath and Body Works. I have literally never tried another lotion that leaves my hands feeling as soft as when I use this! This lotion contains paraffin, olive, avocado/apricot oils, and vitamin E. This can also be used as an overnight intense conditioning treatment. I plan on doing this more in the winter months when my hands get really dry and cracked.

MAC Raizin Blush
This has been my go to blush this past month. It is a matte finish warm brown. This really is a good blush for warming up the cheeks. I like to pair it with more intense eye looks.

Slatkin & Co. Marshmallow Fireside Candle
And finally my absolute favorite candle that I have purchased! I am obsessed with anything that is marshmallow scented. This is the perfect combination of marshmallow and Bath and Body Work's Fireside scent! It gives off such a warm and comforting scent that I want to burn it all the time.
