NYX and Revlon lip gloss

So I recently picked up a few different colors of lip gloss from Ulta. The first two are the NYX brand Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige and Dolly Pink. I really liked the color selection for these lip glosses and the smell! But, they do not last a very long time and I feel like I have to keep applying them. I decided to try the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London which is a beige neutral color. I have never tried a matte lip color and I actually really like it. The color and matte look goes good paired with a smokey eye. I also decided to try the Revlon Colorstay lip gloss in Continuous Coral for spring. I read at the store that it lasts up to 8 hours and it does! I had it on the whole day and only a little bit had worn off.
1. Dolly Pink
2. Beige
3. London
4.Continuous Coral
Sorry for the different lighting in the pics!! I was tryin to get natural light and the sun kept going behind the clouds :(

Very Dramatic Lashes!

I was excited when I went in the makeup section at Target the other day and they now have a whole section of E.L.F products! So I picked up several of their products. One thing I bought was a pair of the E.L.F. brand's  dramatic lashes and decided to try them out. Plus they were only a dollar!!
Definitely love them!! I didn't use the glue though I used a glue that came with a pair from a different brand I previously bought.

Favorite Hair Products :)

Soo I like to try a lot of hair products from different places to keep my hair doin what I want it too haha Here are the ones that i loooooveee and  use almost every day.
Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Mousse. This is one of the best products I have tried that keeps my hair frizz free when I scrunch my hair I love it because unlike other scrunch sprays it doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy. lol I  put 3 big squirts in my hair right after I get out of the shower, use some volumizing mousse at my routes, and blow dry my hair with a diffuser on a medium heat setting. It makes my hair super curly at first (since I have naturally curly/wavy hair) and then throughout the day the curls loosen into beachy type waves. :) I got this from Target for around 3 dollars I think.. super inexpensive
Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus. This is my favorite volumizing mousse that I have used. I use this with when I scrunch my hair with the totally twisted mousse and also for every day to give my hair some extra volume. It doesn't leave my hair sticky feeling either! I put a palm full in my roots and at the crown of my head right before blow drying. They sell this at a lot of places like Wal Mart and Target and they usually carry it in a lot of salons. I got this at Target for $17.

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo for oily/straight to normal hair. Love this stuff! I have gone through so many bottles! lol I don't like to wash my hair everyday since I like to keep my hair SUPER light blonde and my apartments have quite a lot of rust in our water. This gives my hair a nice texture to makes it easier to style as well as giving it volume. I spray a good amount in my hair leave it on for a couple minutes then brush it out a little bit.  One problem I have had with a couple of the bottles the sprayer stopped working but I took the sprayer off and ran it through warm water and it worked again. I got this from Wal Mart for $4. 79.

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. This is definitely my favorite product for my hair. I got this from Ulta for around $17.. kinda pricey but very worth it. It is very concentrated so you only need to use a little bit of it. I put a couple squirts of this on my hair when its damp focusing on the ends and parts that get more frizzy. I have the frizziest hair after I blow dry it but this makes my hair so smooth and NO friz! Even on the very humid days in the summer! Did I mention it also smells amazing! very fruity mmm
Teaze by Phillips teasing comb. This is my favorite brush to tease my hair. I don't even have to use hair spray when I use this to teaze my hair! It just works better then other teasing comps I have used and the brissles don't damage my hair as much. I got this from Sally's for $4.49 with my Sally's card, otherwise its $4.99.

Katy Perry Shatter Nail Polish

So I just recently purchased the OPI's black shatter nail polish from the Katy Perry line of nail polishes.
I purchased it from Ulta for $8.50 which is the same price for all other OPI nail polishes. I did not get any of the other Katy Perry nail polishes made to go under it (although i REALLY loved the color "teenage dream"), I figured I would save money by using ones that i already have. I put these three nail polishes underneath the black shatter nail polish..
China Glaze "For Audrey"

China Glaze "Pink Voltage (Neon)"

Sally Hanson-Don't know name

I think i purchased the two China Glaze colors from Sally's a while back for around 5 or 6 dollars. I got the Sally Hanson nail polish from Wal Mart (as you can see from the price tag haha) for $6.50.
This is how they turned out! I applied two coats of each base nail polish and let them dry completely. I then put a thick layer of the black shatter nail polish using long even strokes on my pointer, middle, and index fingers. On my pinky finger I put a thick coat of the black shatter going horizontal. It takes about 30 seconds to separate (shatter). I usually apply a shiny top coat after it is dry but I didn't in this picture. It makes it look a lot better
I think this is a very fun nail polish to wear. I have gotten many compliments on it from people at school and people I don't know! So if this look is worth the $8.50 to you then definitely get it!
