Fall Back to School FOTD

I hate to say it...
.... but summer is nearing its end and school is starting again. :( That means it is also time for back to school makeup! As a college student, I know that there is not a lot of time in the morning for going all out in your makeup look. The key is to keep it simple with only one or two neutral eye shadows and few products that can be worn everyday. This look can be worn with or without foundation and powder. I chose to use my foundation because I like wearing it lol.

How I got this look...

Eyes
Lorac e/s in Bronze

For your every day school look go for a neutral color that will go well with your skin tone. Usually eye shadows with a satin finish and a hint of shimmer will look good on everyone. I chose the color Bronze by Lorac because it is a good fall color. Any kind of taupe or lighter brown eye shadow will work well.

1. First always use an eye shadow primer so your color will not crease.
I used MAC's Painterly Paint Pot
2. Take your neutral eye shadow and place it all over your lid.
To do this, I used my Sigma E55 brush.
3. Blend that same color into the crease of your eye and above your crease.
I did this using my Sigma E25 blending brush.
4. Take that same neutral color and smudge it on your entire lower lash line.
I used my Sigma E30 pencil brush.

The second eye shadow you will need is a highlight color that is close to or lighter than your natural skin tone. I used this color (not sure what it is called) by NYX.

5. Place this color under your eyebrow
Again, I used my Sigma E55 brush.
6. Also take this color in your inner tear duct to brighten that area.
I used my Sigma E30 pencil brush.
7. Finish with any volumizing mascara and your eyes are good to go!

Face
MAC Blush in Blushbaby
If you do not have a lot of time in the morning, you can totally skip the whole primer and foundation steps and just use a powder. Or if you have good skin don't use any! For your cheeks use a beige pink blush to give you a hint of color without looking overdone. I used MAC's blush in Blushbaby. It is a color that looks good on most everyone.

8. Take your blush and apply it to the lower apples of your cheeks and blend it towards your temples.
To do this, I used the Sigma F40 brush.

Lips
NYX lip gloss in Beige
Keep your lips simple by opting for a lip gloss or tinted lip balm instead of a lipstick. I chose the color Beige by NYX.

9. Apply lip gloss to lips! :)

Pretty easy and simple right? This is a look that can be done in 5 minutes and worn everyday!
