Smokey Blue FOTD

Hey guys!
So lately I have been being very bland and boring with my makeup due to lack of time and energy to make the effort to do it. I have been working a lot especially in the early morning and who likes doing their makeup at 5 a.m? haha But, one of the days that I worked later at Ulta, I decided to play around with my Urban Decay shadows and here is what I came up with. :)

Face
Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pure
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Foundation in Honey
Too Faced Chocolate Soliel Bronzer
Bare Minerals Ready Bronzer in "The Deep End" to contour
Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in "Exposed"

Lorac Perfectly Lit in "Radiant" for highlight

Lips
NYX lipstick in "Circe"

Brows
Makeup Forever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector in No. 0

Eyes
Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance
Maybelline Color Tattoo in "Tenacious Teal" as base
Urban Decay e/s in "Haight" on lid
Urban Decay e/s in "Verve" on tear duct
Too Faced e/s in "Soul mates"  under eyebrow
Urban Decay e/s in "Naked" to blend
Loreal Infallible e/s in "Midnight Blue" in crease and lower lash line

Urban Decay e/s in "Blackout" to darken the crease and lower lash line
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Ardell 105 False Lashes

And my Ulta attire, all black.

Seeking Pleasure? ;)

Sorry about the title.. I couldn't help myself. ;)
Anyways, MAC recently launched the Heavenly Creature collection containing different mineralize skinfinishes, mineralize blushes, lipsticks, etc. The only thing that I decided to order from this collection was the lipstick in Pleasureseeker. What drew me to this color was the fact that it is a peachy nude. I own many (MANY) nude lipsticks but not a lot of pink or peach nude lipsticks. Ironically, MAC's Shy Girl, another peachy nude that is compared to Pleasureseeker, was the first lipstick that I ever bought from MAC. I tried it out and decided that it was too light for my tan skin tone and ended up trading it on Makeupalley (which ended up being swaplifted -_-). Despite my bad luck with shy girl, I am loving the peach nude color that Pleasureseeker delivers. This is a glaze formula so it is a little bit of a lighter pigment than other formulas, but it still delivers a beautiful wash of color that brings life to the lips. It is not drying on my lips (it feels more like a lip gloss/lipstick cross). But, it also does not last as long as other lipsticks.
Despite it lasting only an hour or two on my lips, I am loving this lipstick and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I feel like this lipstick would look great on most skin tones unless you are fairly dark, it may be too light.
Pleasureseeker is currently still available on MAC's website for $14.50. Click Here to check it out!

Has anyone tried the other lipsticks from this collection?

Also..
My boyfriend gave me a new camera for my birthday! It is a Panasonic Lumix and it shoots HD videos..
Possible Youtube videos in the future?

Getting Topless and Barefoot!

Hello!
Browsing the Makeup and Beauty section on Pinterest, I stumbled  upon a gorgeous nude nail polish and I had to have it! Essie's Topless and Barefoot is a light beige nude with a pink undertone. It is very similar to Sand Tropez but a little less beige. The formula of this nail polish is a bit streaky on the first application, but with a second coat, it turns out to be very opaque. I have worn this color when being tan as well as being pale after my self tanner wore off. It looked great both times and did not wash out my nails.
This is my first nude nail polish and I may be addicted now...
Click here to order this nail polish off Amazon for $6.99.

Maybelline Limited Edition Porcelain Lipsticks by Colorsensational!

Hi Beauties!
Making my rounds at Rite Aid, I spotted a new collection from Maybelline called Colorsensational Porcelains. Since I am a sucker for nude lipsticks, I picked up a couple of the lipsticks from this collection. The two that I chose were Smooth Taupe which is an icy light nude and Nude Nuances which is an icy pink nude. The color Nude Nuances is thought to be a dupe for MAC's Hue lipstick. Looking at comparison swatches, they seem to be very similar!
Looking at the bottom of the lipsticks' color guide in the store, I thought these lipsticks would be a little bit darker than what they are on the lips. Smooth Taupe looks kind of ridiculous on me with my tan skin. I tried it on and showed my boy friend and he told me that it looked like I had just gotten done eating powdered donuts. Not a good look...
Nude Nuances, on me, looks a little bit better. It is still pretty light but it doesn't look super awkwardly light. What I have been doing with these lipsticks, is using them to tone down my brighter pink and coral lipsticks. Like all of the other Maybelline lipsticks, they have a great moisturizing formula and color payoff. I wish two colors were a little darker for my complexion right now, but I know these colors would be great for those of you who are lighter skinned! This collection, I have heard, has been hard to find. I was able to find it at my local Rite Aid but I did not see it at Ulta, Wal Mart, or Walgreens. The price of these lipsticks are around $7.49.

Review: Tree Hut Shea Body Butter in Brazilian Nut

What it is
An intense moisturizer containing the sweet essence of Natural Brazilian Nut Oil blended with ultra-rich Certified Organic Shea Butter to seal in moisture and soften dry, rough skin.

Ingredients
Water, Cyclomethicone, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Glyceryl Stearate
Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower), Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-100 Stearate, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, PEG-8 Beeswax, Lanolin Alcohol, Polysorbate 80, Laureth-4, Fragrance, Bertholletia, Excelsa Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Disodium EDTA, BHT

To use
Massage over the body after bathing or showering allowing the natural oils to moisturize the skin

My Thoughts
First off I would like to mention that the smell of this is so YUM. It has a smell of a mix of chocolate and coffee that lingers on the skin long after being put on. The texture of this is typical to any body butter: very thick and creamy. The difference that I noticed in the texture of this body butter compared to others that I have used is that it isn't as greasy feeling.
I would have to say that this body butter is very moisturizing. I like to take showers at night and use this directly after all over my body. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is so soft and really feels hydrated. Previous to buying this, I had been using The Body Shop Shea Body Butter as my all over moisturizer to help prolong the life of my self tanner. I do love this body butter but it can be quite expensive from $18 to $25 dollars, depending. I really wanted to find a cheaper alternative since I use it every day, if not two times a  day. I do believe that the Tree Hut Shea Body Butter will be a very good replacement to this. The only real difference that I notice between the two (besides the smell) is the texture. The Body Shop Shea Body Butter is def. more easily spreadable and a tad more greasy feeling.

Price and Where to Find
The Tree Hut Shea Body Butter is around $6 to $8 dollars for 7 oz (depending on where you purchase it at). I bought mine at Wal Mart but I know this brand is also sold at Ulta and other drug stores. The shea body butters by Tree Hut also come in a number of other scents. :)
